We are always in need of horse tack and breakaway halters. We have no size requirements since we have horses that range in all sizes
Blanket donations are always appreciated. Vermont winters are tough and some of our horses are seniors or in a rougher shape come winter. Any and all sizes are greatly appreciated.
Our rescues have a wide array of medical needs and daily medications. We GREATLY appreciate any and all medical donations. This could range from specific medicines to vet wrap and bandages.
Horses eat, eat, and eat! We are always looking for feed, hay, supplement and mineral block donations.
We have a 2 horse lorry as our farms horse transport, but we are always looking for trailer and/or truck donations. The more trailer space we have, the more opportunities we have to save and transport more horses in need. Donating an old farm truck or trailer is a fantastic way to give back and get a tax deduction.
If you live or work on a farm, you know how crucial farm equipment is to the operation. Many times farm equipment is out of our budget. If you have any farm equipment that you would like to donate, I promise you that it will be very loved here at SBF!
Whether this be landscaping, plumbing, accounting, or grant writing, we would be grateful for any donated time of your expertise.
